Always good to hear BBC stuff I`ve never heard before, that`s a show that slipped through the net as far as my listening habits go 24 years ago – thanks for posting that Mike. I think I have the JAM jingle if thats any help but not the European theme.

i do have the opening jingle,thanks david.
it was actually quite a good show – like the european song contest but featured,in my opinion,better songs.
on one particular show for example the uk's contribution was queen's killer queen.
i listened every sunday evening but at the time only had a crappy mono cassette recorder to record with hence the poor quality lol

Here's the opening of the programme from 17 January 1982. European Pop Jury had previously been presented by David Gell in the 70s.

that particular theme was called Wishbone Ash 'Blind Eye'.
