Do jingle companies use the same vocalists ?
For example: Do the vocalists who sing for JAM also sing for TM and Thompson?
And does the same goes for musicians?

I guess the answer would be both yes and no. Some singers do sing at multiple companies. But that having been said, generally it's not the “exact” same vocal group from company to company. Also, the way the group/singers sound can be varied for a number of reasons including processing or just how the group is arranged in the mix and the charts written by the particular producer.

i read that JAM use freelance vocalists and musicians which is why you might hear similar (but not identical, obviously) influences/sounding jingles from one company to another.
JAM also have vocalists (staff) unique to them.

As has TM with someone like Greg Clancy.
Most companies also use freelance composers. most packages are a collaboration between different composer. F.I. you may hire Johnny Hooper to do some short ID's and shotguns and Tom Merriman for rich music beds with violins and Jon keeping it all in order and adding some nice tunes too : )
