“All material copyright by it's original producer and is presented here for entertainment purposes only.”

I just wonder if this is a good example of what a jingle website (made for entertainment) should say to avoid any issue with copyright when featuring audio material that belong to others. What is considered as a good procedure to be legally right and safe?

      Thanks for your advice.

Unless you get authorisation from every copyright owner you are always at risk of someone contacting and saying Oi!
There are some things to avoid like:-
        Production Music
        Instrumentals

It is really a case of excercising common sense but you could also add the following:-

The jingles on this website are for entertainment/educational purposes only.
I believe that this website complies with section 30 (1) of the Copyright, Designs and Patent Act 1988, which states that “Fair dealing with a work for the purpose of criticism or review, of that or another work or of a performance of a work, does not infringe any copyright in the work provided that it is accompanied by a sufficient acknowledgement. “
All jingles are copyright by the individual producers, details available on request.
If you are a copyright owner and wish to have material removed from this site please contact me.

          Thanks Michael!

I only wish it would be easier. In fact, when we promote the work of someone else and it is clear that we admire what was done and that is the only reason to share it (the jingle) with others, the author or owner of the copyright should be delighted and proud that someone in this world takes time to value his work, giving – beside the audio – all references related to the producer or studio that owns the jingle.

It is not a simple life… Have a nice weekend!

I think that people that have worked hard and taken the time to write, produce, sing jingles etc should feel very proud that we jinglers love and adore their work.
