i know i have posted a stereo version of this particular jingle,but here's a medium wave copy of it,again from 1986.
it's “bruno brookes on radio 1”,a jingle by peter beckett.this particular jingle was very popular as it was resung for many different station dj's not just for radio 1.
on radio 1 it was sung for bruno brookes,adrian john,andy peebles and gary davies (that i know of).
i think radio 1 going to fm was a good thing,but in the 90's that's when it went downhill all the way.
enjoy this short memory of when radio 1 was truly at it's best.
