There's a package that I've been hearing on a few CHRs recently…WRVW/Nashville, WFKS/Jacksonville and WXXL/Orlando come to mind. However, I can't quite place it. They sound fresh and different – if anyone could help me figure out the origin of these jingles, that would be great!
These are a package made by a fellow Missouri resident, Steve Sykes (former CSD at KSLZ in St. Louis) called HOOKS by Steve Sykes and they are marketed by Groove Addicts. I know, he's one of my best friends and I'm using them on my station.
Thank you. Jet's station along with WRVW/Nashville, WFKS/Jacksonville and WXXL/Orlando were some of the first to jump on the service. Hooks can also be heard on WHYI/Miami, CHUM-FM/Toronto, KDND/Sacramento and more! There's a new demo up now at http://www.hooksbystevesykes.com which better explains how Hooks works.
Those hooks sound really cool, first time I`ve heard these – wonder if any radio stations in the UK & Europe will get hooked up to them (pardon the pun !). Incidentally, cuts #06 and #07 seem to be missing from the demo.
