MemberThanks for sharing these JingleCity guy.. I agree, these are some very interesting jingles for the timeframe they came out in (I'm guessing mid/late 70's)?? Everyone seemed to love their moogs back then & show off their talent operating 'em.

I believe it's 1975 and there's even an Electronicus II
Almost all Moog stuff at TM was done by Ken Justiss (so he told me). He privatly owned a moog (and still does, i've seen it, although the electronics are dirty and he never uses it anymore)and took it to work (TM) with him when needed. At first TM paid him for it. Later they skipped this extra income.

Another great example of early TM…………….WSAI 'Cincinnati, OH' – Electronicus Re-Sings – Main Cuts – TM Productions
I've heard some of the electronic sounds,
as the demo's were cut and used here in Europe by the Offshore stations.
Never knew it came from TM and the name Electronicus is new to me as well. Thanks for sharing them Ben!

Maarten, any cuts of Electronicus I you let us hear?
Ken Justis, made one of my favorite jingle packages,
the RNI 220 (Dynamite) package.
Did Ken name it Dynamite when he first produced it?
As far as I know, he never mentioned the name 'Dynamite' in the demo he send RNI.May 4, 2008 at 6:50 pm #59038theniceguy
Don't know if i have them.. Perhaps TC?
The RNi jingles were made earlier for several american stations and wasn't called dynamite. I don't believe it had a name at all.

As for a Radio North Sea jingle package title, I guess you could say either
Logotronics or The Devastation Concept. The latter was really just a few
effects with voice-overs done by a heavy-voiced guy I hired while still in
college in Indiana. But it did include the dynamite effect.May 5, 2008 at 5:38 pm #59083topcat
For those who know the TM packages well… you will realize that these Electronicus packages are nothing more than the current TM packages (Sound '70; Pacific & Southern and so on) with the horns/strings replaced by sweeping moog effects.
Yup… I have further examples of these, somewhere. If/when I locate 'em, I'll post a few more. I'm working on a TM BOX SET #2 of their demos. So many tapes… so little time.

About the name 'Dynamite'

'Dallas the jingle capital of the world'
it is mentioned as the Dynamite package, wich surprised me, and made me wonder if it actualy had that name originaly. It's nice to read, that Ken is stil being asked to produce sonovox jingles, as it is his speciality.
And he stil does this “as a sideline” just like he said on the demo he send RNI.Thanks for asking Ken about this, Maarten.

Box set 1 is a great reference archive since so much of what TM produced never crossed the Atlantic to air on European stations.
So what little treasures will be on Box set 2? Another 7 CDs?

I'm not sure what I'll be including. The demo reels are the last thing to be conquered in the warehouse. I was there for a good hour today sorting through untouched boxes and taking pictures.
If anyone wants to purchase new sings from it… I know where the following multi-track is. (chuckle)

MemberA zillion years ago, Bossjock sent me a dub of an excellent “moog-y” KOL Seattle
package from the Tom Konard collection; unfortunately I binned the tape circa
1982 when I thought jingle collecting was long dead! With a bit of 20:20 hindsight, looks like the package was Electronicus I or II.
This extract was posted a wee while back by TC (and yes it actually would be a
great “retro”-style package for a re-sing!)May 7, 2008 at 9:21 am #59130IainJohnston
