I worked at “The Wave” for about 10 minutes… but I don't remember these jingles. It may have been something done on spec. As I recall, we had a TM package that sang shoutguns “102 point 3 The Wave”. I don't recall the slogan as “good time rock and roll oldies” either.

As an aside, the holy grail of jingles for me is the package 102.3 had when the call letters were WFAN. I'm sure it was a Pepper/Tanner trade package, as the station had NO money and would have traded and/or bartered anything they could.

Is it just me or do they sound very similar to old Thompson Creative stuff?

I still lived in Connecticut, so it must have been the late 80's or early 90's. I did a couple of part time shifts there before landing a full time gig at another station. I don't think I ever even recorded an aircheck from there. :( Very sad.
