Hello
Please can someone tell me the best company to make a reasonable price ident and bed.
Thanks

All do great jingles at reasonable prices.March 29, 2008 at 3:23 pm #57955Good Time OldieHi Laurence
Just to add to that….
Give Mr Hooper a shout at Radioscape, always found him to be very helpful and friendly.
Always remember, price isn't everything, “you get what you pay for”, some companies use the same jingle singers, but the results are often quite different, so choose carefully (especially if considering using a certain gentleman who records the vocals in his bedroom…I won't be going to him again even if I did get 300 mixouts lol)
Personally, I am going to Steve England this time around, very nice guy to deal with and you're always guaranteed a wonderful vocal from Sarah and the leg end that is Stevie B (IMHO of course)
Good luck and let us hear it/them when completed.

And been in the biz for a long time.March 30, 2008 at 1:07 pm #57969martinlesterMemberIn the 30 Years or so that I have been buying Personal Jingles I have more personal cuts from JAM than anyone other company
The Attention to you get with Jon Wolfert is the same as if you was buying for the largest station in the world, also Jon, Lyric wise is the best
Often he will give alternative suggestions this attention to detail is something that you would not always get from everyone
Next Jones TM (IJingles) followed by Radio Scape
If you are on a budget consider Steve England apart from his own packages also available are the JAM tracks with the UK Singers
However personally the best singers in the world are from Dallas and if you can not afford JAM or TM then the next best choice would be Studio Dragonfly different singers but overall a very good sound
Last of all Reelword also have a personal cut scheme (I won a prize from them 2 years back and was very happy with the service) Slightly higher price than JAM but a very different sound examples of all of the all the above are on the mp3 attached along with a few others all different company’s
One Last thing to point out if you pick the American Singers be careful to point out any thing that needs special attention
For example my name is normally sung as Mar’in (Soft T) listen to Tag Cut 18 of cost effective to hear an example, to Americans this is the norm but for me I always hate the way its sung, so I always point out to sing a Personal Cut the UK way of Mar –Tin (Hard T) this would apply to other words like Better or Ninety (listen to the Capital Radio Richard Bacon cuts)
As long as it pointed out before the session this will not be a problem but going back to my 1st ever Dallas sing it was a big problem (This was Not with JAM or TM)
Finally if you can’t afford sung jingles then I can recommend Bob Taylor as a very good American Voice again example is on the MP3

How many JAM Personal cuts do you have Martin?…….sounds like a challenge to me LOL!!
I also agree with what you said abot Jon W, he always helps with advice and of course you get the reassurance of knowing that you're dealing with the “Organ Grinder”

Was there a specific idea you had in mind for the ident and bed? (Lyrics, musical style – retro/contemporary, etc).
It also makes a big difference if you intend to broadcast the production or not. The suggestions made so far pretty much assume it'll be for your personal use.
