Going off on a slight tangent here, we've just spent a few nights in the Kielder forest over Easter (yes, very nice thanks) and of course I took a wireless so I could listen to 'Book At Bedtime' etc. Now as expected, FM reception was a bit iffy, even with the high power nationals, but stomping through loud and proud on 1368Khz was Manx Radio.
Made a pleasant change from listening on a piss poor, low bitrate, internet stream.
Long live good old analog AM!!!!
Does anyone remember what followed the Jam Q cuts package that they used early to mid 90s'ish?
