It seems Capital 95.8 are about to launch a new jingle package, just heard a cut which is posted below and must say they sound alot better than the wise buddah
I'm 99% sure there made by Music4, If so it will be their first package in 6 years from them.

January 30, 2008 at 5:25 pm #56228mbMemberUrghh
Is Jonny Anthony a new presenter or are these just very badly orchestrated / sung ?
Sadly lacking the oomph that gave Vibe / Music 4 such doination in the early 00's.January 30, 2008 at 5:26 pm #56229mbMemberBut thanks for the posting – very interesting!!!

January 30, 2008 at 6:52 pm #56234PaulThey seem to be a remix/resing of 2FM's 2007 package from Music4… I like it though.
January 31, 2008 at 5:45 am #56250ratnobMemberThey sound thin and tinny to me – but always good to see that sung jingles are recognised as what stations need.
February 1, 2008 at 8:50 am #56298martinlesterMemberIt always amazing that a station gets new Jingles but uses the same Voice Over guy that dozen's of stations use, in this case (can't remember his name) but he is also on several of the Heart Liners !
Who are Capital's main competitor !
February 1, 2008 at 11:08 am #56307PaulI just heard from Sandy at Music4. This cut is on-air for the launch of Johnny and Denise, but will be replaced soon with custom work.
We don't have that problem with voiceovers here in Ireland. I'd guess what Liam Quigley is a favourite by a handfull of stations… WLR, Galway Bay FM, KFM, Ocean FM and a few others.
February 1, 2008 at 9:34 pm #56322JingleMad2005The new breakfast cuts can be heard in their full entirety over on the music4 website now!
February 1, 2008 at 11:16 pm #56329mbMemberI really don't like the latest Music 4 “sound” used for the one network and these Capital cuts. The recent stuff outta TM is so much fuller, richer and vocally clearer. But just my opinion.
February 2, 2008 at 12:24 pm #56342ah-mediaMemberOh dear shame I can't pick Capital up on the Northern Line isn't it ?? Not really much of a Music4 fan at the moment. All the packs sound too similar (like some of the Steve England stuff) but at least Capital are using sung jingles – It could be 100% liners so we have to be grateful for that!

Capital use the now ubiquitous Jon Rand, who seems to voice just about eberything these days – including most commercial radio, ITV, E4, Blockbuster ads…
Now they also have Emma Clarke after Toni Phillips departed.
The Rand – Clarke combo is very popular in commercial radio these days, simply because they're the two best V/Os out there today.
