      Steve was interviewing “flagship presenter of Chesterfield and North Derbyshire hospital radio Ivan Brackenbury” a comedian who is going on tour with his radio show – he sounded quite good mis-firing jingles etc etc. – :! you can off coarse re-capture this with radio-player on R2's site

          I thought this was very funny the old Alfasound Jingles and Steve England Sonovox “He's Bonkers”

            there's some ivan brackenberry clips on youtube if you search on the name…. looks like his interview on Steve Wright actually included material from his stand up routine.. days of the week goof up etc…

              Thanks guys. Just seen him on YouTube. Very funny !lol Reminds me of my Hospital Radio days.

                He was on the Toby Foster show on Radio Sheffield not so long ago, very funny, but the same jokes keep recycling. Shame really.

                  Was the 'He's bonkers' sono cut done for Ivan or has he pinched it from an old Alfa package – anyone heard it used elsewhere ?

                    It's from the first of those jingles for djs, discotheques and radio stations-type tapes Alfasound did IIRC

                      It was on one of the Alfa “Jingles” LP's as I recall (probably vol.1). Also included was the “I've got a ferret up my trousers” sono!
