done know about the alfasound packages.
i know that PAMS did one on the 'PAMS PIRATES' cassette though (ERI = 'Eastside Radio Ireland').
some of the PAMS ERI were resings of Radio Jackie if i remeber rightly which was featured on the same cassette.

Those jingles were a pain to work with. For some reason, (on these early ones), they didn't pronounce the word Munster properly – so on-air it sounded like they were singing 'Day & Night in Mustard'. From what i can remember, they were obtained in 1982 through the chap in the UK who was selling CPMG resings of a Toledo package.

I remember the package name now – Growing With Your City.

It was indeed Growing With Your City (and to think I nearly brought one of these some years ago) aarrrgghhhh

The guy was Barry Charnley who rep'd for CPMG back then – KenR did the vocals with his Toledo group.

I really liked the package sung with a Dallas group, especially the cut that went, “It's time for Radio Dave” – something about the harmonies, I guess.

If you get a chance to hear the “Around Alfasound” presentation, you can hear the ERI jingles in session.
