Which of the following jingle companies do you recommend to image the sound of an AC station? I am a major ReelWorld fan and I truly choose it as my #1 choice for today's AC formats. Their WLIT packages are so popular dozens of stations across the country are using them. It is considered the best selling package for the company. Now with newcomer Litehouse Studios just started, there will be real competition for those station's programmers when it comes to improve the station's sound to fit with the ever changing format.
As per my previous topic post, I truly think that the packages of TM Century(now Jones TM) make it sound old with their traditional Dallas sound and its instrumentals. Their KVIL packages they created in the past years sound too outdated. Plus some of their customs are irritating to the listeners.
So vote and explain why do you think it is the best choice.

Where is your evidence to support this claim?
January 1, 2008 at 4:53 pm #55367bulger23My personal feeling is JAM for AC jingles.
If you look at the music in which a lot of stations are playing, it's soft stuff from the late 70's, songs that were mainstream in the 80's, with some 90's and 2000's thrown in. If you base it on the first two, who was at the top of the game at the time, JAM. Again, my personal opinion. I will add, though, that TM does have a few good contributions.
And, if you look at the demographics of the people most listening to AC stations, it's people over 30 and more over 35. Most of them don't care what a jingle is. But they do pay attention to continuity and if the jingles mix well from one song to the next, they may be less likely to tune out. Reelworld and companies of the like have their place, but older folks listening to AC don't always want to here stuff that sounds like it should be on your kid's top 40 or hip-hop station. I've been in and out of the radio biz for 20 years and that's how I base my decision.
Who knows, maybe I hit the spirits too much last night and have no idea what I'm saying. But I will offer some jingle package examples: KVIL Renaissance, Do It Again, any of the KOST packages, ones done for WNIC, Positively Kool,Y-98 FM and the list goes on.

Had it been stated “best contemporary AC packages” I'd vote for ReelWorld.
Lite House still has a long way to go. Jones TM still does some decent packages. Jam's AC jingles are classic yet they still sound fabulous!
What's New for 2008 on Jingle-Landia!

Look at the way the jingles are lade out, I could talk about RW one for hours and hours but I wont.
To make this post short, ReelWorld takes the cake.
BTW, The other 3 logos will be available for imaging freaks and RW fans to hear in the next 3-4 weeks.
