Thanks for the tip-off. The YouTube footage must be a bit of a cheat, mustn't it, because singers and musicians wouldn't really be recording the whole track simultaneiously – and we don't see them all together. But it's a really lively piece of work and good to see.

I'm sure that somewhere it says on the TF website that the whole package WAS recorded live as a whole, singers & musicians. I may be wrong but sure it's written on the site ? Marc, any ideas ?

There's great energy in that video. Nice to see what goes on behind a jingle.

JAM's 'The Making of WABC #121' gave a brilliant insight into what goes on in the studios.

As I understood they recorded the footage of the brass, percussion and vocal sessions seperately (like every jingle package) and montaged them into a short video. Like Ratnob said: you don't see them together.

The site doesn't tell if the session had been recorded live as a whole, so I think it was a classic session.

There IS however a new late night show in which the Top Format band and singers do a live session every week. It's called GIEL (the tv show of a populair radio morning host) and you can find it on
