I recorded these off the WOMC webstream Friday night.

The 56k stream doesn't do them justice. I can't wait to hear the cuts in the clear!

May 5, 2007 at 5:33 am #29974ratnobMemberHey Mike – I've been waitng to hear this since Gary Berkowitz tipped us off that JAM would be heard on the station soon. I think it's a mixture of “Do It Again” and “Home of the Hits”, isn't it?
I personally love “Home of the Hits” – it's one of my favourite JAM packages (I've had 2 personal resings and have more lined up when I can persuade my family!).
The reason it's such a great package is it brings such fun and excitement to a station – you can hear the jock really enjoying himself. Also, for jingle collectors, it's one of the wittiest packages ever because of the way it echoes classic PAMS jingles in the vocals, sonovox and themes. I wonder whether WOMC has had any of those cuts resung?
Anyhow, great to hear these. Thanks a lot for posting.

May 5, 2007 at 8:54 pm #29989kcmike“Do It Again†was released back in 1992.
A 15-year-old package on a major market heritage Oldies station?
Who needs a new custom when you’ve got JAM’s library of timeless jingle packages.

JAM at its best with re sings from 2 Great packages
in fact the 2nd personal cut I ordered from JAM long before JAM started its personal cut programme was from the Do It Again package and more recently the Morning Show cut from home of the hits that was when it was known as CBS MASTER cut #35
Its a pity we don't have some one like Gary Berkowitz in the UK we could do with a consultant that knows about programming and jingles !
May 6, 2007 at 6:22 am #29993ratnobMemberThis thread has prompted me to use The Stream Center to listen in to the stations listed on the JAM site. The WNIC package is sounding great in Detroit, though the station seems to be churning out endless 70s oldies, perhaps to dent interest in WOMC.
And there's some great JAM jingles on the air at KEZK St Louis – a really good compliment to their “soft rock” format.

May 6, 2007 at 10:11 am #29995bland75MemberKEZK are currently using cuts from the Most Coast package. I blame Paul McGrath and his recent off-air montage for me now spending hours listening to the station online. !lol

May 6, 2007 at 10:26 am #29996ratnobMemberAh, thought it had the Coast feel. Very smooth.G
May 6, 2007 at 10:52 am #29997mbMemberTHey may not be the hippest jingles at the moment but for Oldies and Soft AC ( as well as other formats ) JAM still have a totally class product. The tracks can only be described as beautiful, the multi-layers of instrumentation and finishing touches is still of a quality that I think even the newer companies on the scene aspire to match.( or should do )
May 6, 2007 at 5:41 pm #30001945KBAYguyahh these sound good!
May 10, 2007 at 9:56 am #30070BarrasWOMC also had JAM`s Double Plus resung for them…

May 11, 2007 at 10:11 am #30093JingleMadMemberThere using Zone now.
Yes, AC D-Tox from Zone, And KEZK is using that package now.
In the CCM format, Spirit 92.9 is using ReelWorld. Don't know the package yet.
May 11, 2007 at 8:28 pm #30102ratnobMemberYep, KEZK must have changed in the last week, as I spent all last weekend listening to the Coast package on the station. The new Zone jingles work well on the air – there's a nice momentum to the station.
