It’s Jeff Davies who is the male voice. I’ve never really rated him – think he sounds painful to listen to unless processed really well. Doesn’t work well with the female British voice at all. And Music Fun Life is a pants station strapline.

All imaging is produced in house at Minster I think.

They’re on the look out for new station voices I hear.

i’ve always thought that “music, fun, life” was a crap strapline

what does it actually mean? I can understand why stations have straplines like “Today’s Best Music” and “Playing The best of the 80’s, 90’s and now”, etc as they actually mean things.

Fun Music for Life”

its like lets remove the words that complete the phrase because…An american station has done it and worked…And we’ll sound hip and trendy…says a management team in their 40’s…

Do you think in the 90’s Radio city…..City fm …..would have got away with

“music…mix …best”
