Larry Thompson in Dallas has just let me know that Thompson Creative have purchased the old PAMS building at 4141 Office Parkway in Dallas. For anyone “new” to Jingle Mad, Thompson Creative have been based for several years at the old JAM studios on 4631 Insurance Lane in Dallas (just around the corner from a certain TM Century employee ! )
I`ve actually made Larry aware of Jingle Mad and he was pleasantly surprised by the interest shown in Thompson Creative. Larry also added, there will soon be new jingles from Thompson Creative.

March 18, 2006 at 1:59 pm #25754topcatThe last time I was in Dallas, we did a field trip to 4141 Office Parkway. The building was some religious group, I believe… and there was noone in sight. I don’t know how much of the original PAMS studios are intact, but it should be interesting to see what Larry does with it.

March 18, 2006 at 2:44 pm #25756MarcMannetjeI’m affraid you’re right about that.
But I think it’s a good thing for the industry that we can choose from a lot of styles and sounds. If you want the best AC jingles, the only place to go to is still JAM… In CHR I’m not shure about that anymore, althought I like a more full Hot AC sound on CHR stations than you hear about these days.

March 19, 2006 at 3:38 pm #25760BarrasDon`t want to sound like I`m tring to be a sales-guy for Thompson Creative(I already allegedly sound like AJ Productions press officer in some other posts ! ) BUT…in defence of Thompson Creative, jingle enthusiasts in the UK and Europe seem to be of the opinion that Thompson Creative are not producing many jingles these days (that may be true in the UK & Europe) however, they`re still producing jingles in the USA and as I said in the other TC post, they`ve been concentrating on the TKO Radio Network. Thompson Creative now have 150 radio station affiliates around the USA on their “Hall Of Fame Coast To Coast” oldies show hosted by Truckin` Tom Kent.
