JAM just put ‘Country Proud’ on their site. Just click to ‘Latest Releases’ and listen. The package for KFKF has the same logo melody as old time countrycuts for KUSA and KSON.
The fact that JAM cleaned up the ‘Latest Releases’-block indicates we can expect more new work the next months.
Have fun listening!
January 12, 2006 at 2:10 pm #25553jr2479As heard here on JingleMad first in September, I even had the name of the package right, what a guess!

So any guesses on when we’ll see more new JAM? Hopefully soon!

January 12, 2006 at 3:13 pm #25554BarrasI thought I had heard some of them before (thanks to you Jeremy) and what a guess !
Don`t forget there`s a Pepper Tanner package called Proud Country which includes different sings of the American national anthem.
As far as JAM goes, lets hope that “Latest Release” block starts filling up with more ear-candy.

January 14, 2006 at 5:00 am #25559JingleMadMemberI don’t think the WCBS demo will get posted as the station is no longer around with that package.
Add the WABC 2004 package to the list of demo’s that could go up and WMEE 2005.

They coud do a demo of the CBS-FM package sung for another station. But a good lesson here, get the demo up fast while the station is still around!
Anyone have some audio of this WMEE package?

Another exmple is the Omni Trax demo.
It was a custom for KMGG (Magic 106) LA in 1984. The station closed before Jam had chance to get the demo out. It didn’t appear until 2 years years later in 1986 with WENS being the demo station.

January 14, 2006 at 12:25 pm #25563MarcMannetjeI agree! JAM could fill an entire demo CD with new packages, some sung for another demo station:
> The Nicest Yet / WNIC 2005
> Highjack! / WCBS 2004
> Feel the Magic / WMGC 2001
> Feel the Magic Too / WMGC 2002
> Country Proud / KFKF 2005
> Lite’N Up / WLYF 2003
> Twice as Nice / WNIC 2002
> Coaster / KOST 2005Any other ideas? And: why does JAM not make packages like ‘My Donna’ for Radio Donna in Belgium, or all Sky Radio packages available for syndication/demo’s? I heard some Donna-cuts in the Kool Combo packages, so they are being syndicated.
Furthermore: WNIC changed its moniker “Soft Rock favourites of Yesterday and Today” into “The Best Variety of Yesterday and Today”, you can hear it on wnic.com.

January 14, 2006 at 1:45 pm #25564JingleMadMember103.7 KVIL Dallas were using some unknown Jam cuts in 2004. They could be custom cuts or cuts from one of the yet to be released demo’s.
Btw, KVIL as we know it is no more. They are now “The new 103.7 Lite FM”

When did they Change to Lite FM ?
Just had a look at the very poorly designed web site most of the links on
the left had side don’t work, no live broadcast !What does the station sound like now ?
Hopefully a bit more thought was put into the station sound than the website

Even if WCBS FM is no longer around its everyone knows it and that the replacement JACK FM is not doing better – and its not the jingles fault. US station flips change like the weather. however the One oh one point one WCBS FM logo as used in Do it again must have been popular with many stations so the package is a good demo of how stations can fit thier logos into the jingles.

January 14, 2006 at 3:25 pm #25567MarcMannetjeI totally agree mb, demos are nothing more than a good sample of what a station COULD sound like. Maybe it’s more a legal difficulty to name a station that does not longer exists.
KVIL is sadly an example of how a legendary station slides to the bottom of the rating book. They had jingles from every production house, changed their world famous logo melody and nothing worked: listeners do not understand that kind of things, they just want a stable steady hometown station… Maybe JAM is now producing cuts for the new Lite103.7?
