Time to build a list of what stations are using the Dallas jinglehouses or resings (Steve England). Just to see whether the traditional Dallas companies are making a realistic comeback against the continuing success of homegrown jingles and the likes of Reelworld etc.
It will also be nice to hear your opinions as well…do you think we will ever get back to the Dallas jinglehouses dominance in the late eighties/early ninties in the UK, or have our stations moved on in a different direction.
I’ll start with a few…
107 The Bee (TM Century)
107.4 Telford FM (Jam)
107.2 The Wyre (Jam)
103 The Eye (Steve England resings of Jam & Pams)November 20, 2005 at 4:47 pm #25350JingleMadMemberVibe 105-108 are currently airing their new TM Century package too.

if I were a UK station, playing AC songs, or jammin oldies, i would nt have second thoughts in securing Dallas jingles!
That’s why here in asia, Philippines particularly, dallas jingles are very popular. and that is because of their products’ feel and heritage.

November 21, 2005 at 11:03 am #25353ah-mediaMemberKick FM in Newbury were using JAM, not sure what they’re currently airing.
There is nothing Dalls sung anywhere close to Portsmouth at the moment. They are either Reelworld, Bespoke or GWR stations !
Rugby FM are using Steve England jingles but I don’t know if they’re US re-sings.

November 22, 2005 at 11:30 am #25356JingleMadMemberA few years ago I voice that uk jingles sounded poor and that usa jingles had quality in the vocals and beds…and a number of people on this forum and others put me down.
I think its sad that people cant think for themselves,it seems that its now in fashion to want a tm jingle package again…but they didnt go away…we in the uk used a cheap option …”because it sounded like todays music”
Studio dragonfly was the best thing that could of happened classic cuts at ok prices
May I say some of the bigger jingle production firms are sounding good……and I cant tell if they are uk or us produced

i think the heritage and feel of dallas jingles are irreplacable. we here in the philippines produce local jingles that fit the culture, music and personality of the stations, you can’t always discount the fact that not all nicely produced US jingles would always fit into a radio station’s unique style.almost all of our foreign produced jingles are dallas-made though, dallas quality jingles can;t be beaten, formats may change, music genres may evolve, but their sound would always be timeless…
