Folks, it seems WOGL has gone back to JAM. They just started airing a few cuts from “Logo Set”. Here’s a sample;

Ron TWait. I’m confused. Wasn’t WOGL running remixed re-sings of “Positron” from JAM? If I remember correctly, just a few weeks ago, WOGL remixed the jingles originally sung for them as “Oldies 98.1 WOGL” to “98-1 WOGL.”
Anyway,
The new jingles— any slogans or just shotguns?

September 26, 2005 at 3:34 pm #25175ronfilMemberAuthorMostly shotguns, so far. WOGL has a habit of only using a few new cuts at a time. Also, you are correct. They were using some positron cuts, along with some Tony Griffin cuts, used for special shows. With the change from “Motown, Soul , and Rock and Roll”, to the “Greatest Hits Of The 60’s & 70’s”, I would guess some slogan cuts can’t be far away. I guess I should have posted “back to JAM again”.
