I’m trying to find out what people think of the New South Hams Radio Jingles uploaded in the downloads section recently. How do you think they sound for a small scale community station like SHR? The jingles I know were an exclusive commision for YOUR Radio ltd which are RSL stations competing for the licensce’s here in Devon operated by South Hams Radio. These cuts are resing’s of the original package, does anyone else think they are a bit of a mouthful? If anybody wants to hear a version of the original Your Radio version’s please say here.

They are certainly different!

I think the presenter had it right with his comments.
I don’t know what sort of station it is but its all very funky and in places the singer goes one way the tune the other and they just about meet at the end.
I’d have though that a few shorter jingles maybe with frequency or the area would be better than 1 long one.
I dont know the budgets or image that is being aspired to but thery dont really work for me.
