A slightly quicker way I’ve found is to open a huge WAV/MP3 in the montage window of Steinberg’s Wavelab 4, where you can quickly zip through the jingle package marking the track start points. Then burn the project to CDRW (reusable) and re-rip it to the hard drive as separate tracks.
Much quicker than going through a massive file, cutting and pasting into new files, saving them separately etc…
Wavelab claims to be able to detect silence and put in track markers while digitising/ingesting from MD, but I’ve not sussed how to get that to work.
