Reelworld have just posted the worst jingle that they’ve gotten from stations/jingle collectors and it’s from TM Century.

      It’s a re-sing from Detroit’s DRQ http://www.this-domain-is-taken.com/jingles/detroits-drq_cut7.mp3 for Star 105.7 http://www.reelworld.com/homepage/winner.mp3

Hello Ladies and Gentleman of JingleMad!

Tamara here, official press secretary of the ReelWorld Massive (all 7 of us)!

Nothing stanky going on over here except for Mike’s nasty leftovers in the fridge ~

To clarify on the following posts – we received well over 100 entries into Jingle Amnesty, however….out of those 100, only 25 of them were ACTUAL jingles, the rest were sweepers and other other production elements ~ some of which were HORRIBLE!

Out of the 25 that applied, only 15 of them came from legitimate and real radio stations.

With that being said, we believe that the re-sing of DRQ for WMVR was terrible and darnit they deserve a new jingle package.

The PD of WMVR is now jumping with joy because he truly believed that he had the worst jingles ever….and he did.

On a side note, Thank You so much for all of the support & kind words (mostly!) for ReelWorld!

Were any of the 15 legitimate ones made by Reelworld? 😉

But thanks Tamara for the clarification.. Can you tell us which package WMVR has chosen??

Keep up the good work over there at Reelworld.

The station is actually WMRV, not WMVR. It’s a Hot AC that used to be a CHR until recently, in Binghamton, NY.

Hmmm…Looks like Reelworld’s pulled the offending jingle off their website. Probably copyright issues.

(The link above still works, though)

Not the most brutal jingle I’ve ever heard, but it was a cool promotion!
