Nice to see a company in Europe that has been producing jingles for thirty years. Happy anniversary to Jingles Factory.

Out of the blue yesterday they sent me a cut they sang for me. I like the idea that when it’s someone else’s birthday they give ME a present!

Anyhow, as a little tribute, Bob’s hosting a retrospective (produced by Jingles Factory themselves) of their work:

Don`t know why but I thought Jingles Factory was a recent set-up, like the last 10 years or so…thanks for posting your cuts Geoff and if anyone from Jingles Factory is reading this thread, my favourite package you recorded was for Radio Scilly back in 2007/2008, here`s a video of Jingles Factory in Milan, Northern Italy….

        Congratulations to Jingles Factory….

The Scilly bundle commissioned from JF by Keri Jones is still a “benchmark” in recent times for smaller stations – it “captured” an “atmospshere” of the Islands just as Keri wanted. =D>

JF have a small group of singers with genuinely rich, character-full voices that DO actually sound VERY GOOD in solo and in duet – the only thing that lets them down is mis-accentuation/mis-emphasis when it comes to English-language words.
          (e.g. “nnggginglzzz” on Geoff’s cut).
Improve that factor and I think JF would indeed do much better for themselves).

But to be completely fair to JF – would e.g. Alfasound or any other UK company past or present have been able to get spot-on pronounciation of ITALIAN lyrics with non-native-language vocalists if the UK producer had had an order from Capitale Radio or LatteMiele? Most probably not! :-S

Must agree: I loved that Scilly sound. Just right for the station …
