The Ern and Vern Show on BBC Three Counties Radio seems to only use Jam jingles (a few of them seem to be old radio 2 cuts).

They certainly don’t sound at all old fashioned on their show.

Go to http://www.steveengland.com and you’ll see there are a number of stations who have recently ordered resings of JAM jingles from him.

At least JAM are still on the air in the UK (if only just) unlike Thompson Creative. Whatever happened to them?!!

As all hospital radio DJ’s will know, using the clean IRN toh news via Sky, Sunrise Radio have some old Z-100 resings still on rotation.

Thompson has virtually dissapeared from the UK market, but they are still doing very well in the US.

As for Jam in the UK, Saga are using the Steve England package with Jam vocals…so that counts as another I guess!

I thought BBC Radio Devon and Nottingham did as well!

I work for DMX MUSIC who produce instore radio channels across the UK. The Nisa chain of supermarkets have just had a cut from JAM’s Skywave re-sung in Dallas. Went on the air on Monday!!

There is a Digital Radio Station called SAGA Radio which use jingles that sound very much like JAM, including some PAMS remixes from the Mid 60’s
which were used by Britain Radio & BBC Radio 2.

The jingles are good but the station?, I’m too young for it!

They are indeed by Jam and Steve England and you can hear them on his website

Having listened to it it would be easily done (apart from the lovely jingles).
