i was just wondering what people’s favourite commercials are at the moment? there’s only one i like cos it has a 40sec catchy jingle. that’s the carcraft commercial CARCRAFT VIDEO .don’t know whether it airs across the uk or not (see it by clicking carcraft video bold/underlined). not sure whether there is a buddy holly ‘not fade away’ influence in the tune or not.CARCRAFT mp3

Ha, I do love Carcraft. That jingle has haunted me on the radio around the country. First in my homezone of the North West (Carcraft Rochdale), then when I worked in South Wales (Carcraft Newport, though it used to sing Carcraft at Empress), then they built one next to Real Radio in Leeds.

It’s very catchy, though I’ve not seen the commercial you linked to. It’s great!

hey there.
in response to gamewizards question, my fave commercoal appeared on local radio here in yorkshire.
it was an ad for coral windows sang by a group souning like wurzells.
the song was about the three little pigs.
in my opinion,the best radio ad ever, it was funny , catchy & i even bought my blooby winows from them.
anyone up here remember that ad.

I’ve no idea who Johnny Johnsone is….but…..
Johnny Johnston was IMHO the greatest Commercial Jingle Writer Ever!
He wrote many of the great TV commercials of the late 50’s,60’s and 70’s
