Bit of AJ gossip for you….Anthony`s leaving New York City after 8 years of living and working in the good ole USA and moving back to Europe. Jingle Madders who visit JM regularly will know AJ allowed me to post a montage of Steve Wright jingles recently :D which featured a lot of audio that had never been heard before. Like that Steve Wright montage, you mightn`t have heard many of these jingles too….some “class” work again from Anthony James, this is a main-cut montage of Chelmer FM.

      Enjoy !

Thanks David, for posting the Chelmer FM Montage. Totally agree another bit of ‘pure class’ from AJ.

Was listening to the package the other day and made me think, I don’t think that this package would sound outdated or out of place being aired on a station of today.

Would certainly make a great change to the Sweepers and Liners, that ‘todays’ stations are using.

i dont think many stations today use ‘proper’ jingles anymore…which is a real shame.

Is he going to keep on making jingles?

Again, I don`t mean to sound like AJ`s press agent or whatever ! :P but AJ told me a while back, that when he`s settled back on this side of the pond (in Europe) he`ll be concentrating on music production but still making some jingles. The relationship with Steve Wright will continue, so we`ll still be able to hear good jingles on Radio Two.
