Love that promo…including the line “when you’re given lemons, make lemonade!”. Having spoken to Dave Watts,it was sent to all interested parties before the launch of Channel 103 to give exposure to the fact it was offering a new outlet for advertising in the Island.
Doc Morgan went on to be the main voice on all imaging on it’s launch, and combined with those fantastic Best Show resings (check out the downloads by Wixy 1360),gave 103 a great on-air sound. He was followed by JJ McKay and more recently (along with most of the Tindle Group),Mitch Johnson.
Edited @1112 17/2/06 – and John Wells too! I forgot him! (see below) 😳

Nice one Dave your of course right with all that info you no the history of Channel 103 as well as me just one voice you forgot the one and only John Wells was on air for a few years and now that Mitch johnson has stopped doing so much voice work due to one of his parents being unwell all the channel 103 stuff is now voiced by Chris Farrel as are all the Tindle stations except one of the dream stations who use someone else just to be different and dont forget when you’re given hops and yeast, make beer
Cheers
Dave

I think i had an Alfasound American Voice Overs tape with him on 😆As Robin answered earllier , it`s Doc Morgan. Checkout BARRAS MONTAGES for another example of Doc Morgan`s work, some of the liner session for Great Yorkshire Radio in the UK. The station had several liner sessions recorded for them but Doc`s is probably the best. Here`s the direct link to save you searching…
