Anyway, I am hoping (really hard) that I can get the entire 1983-1986 series of AT 40 cuts resung for my personal use. They are the MOST fun jingles I’ve ever heard in my life. I am stoked to know now that not only were the cuts done by JAM, but if I’m listening right, the group featured was the “B” team from the Hitradio series.

The only issue is… money… dang; I do not have 2000 dollars burning my pocket. I’ll have to be patient :)

Drop me an email and I`ll sort those jingles for you :)

For anyone who hasn`t heard the AT40 jingles, here`s an example………

I’m glad you like the AT40 stuff we did in 1984-1985. I was involved as a writer, player and singer, and you’re correct, that is the ‘B-Team’, as heard on ‘Hit Radio’ and ‘The Jam Song’:

Probably the most fun I’ve had singing in my entire jingle career was with this crazy group of misfits.

Anything done at JAM after I left in September of 1985 I wouldn’t have any firsthand knowledge of. Sorry.

Here’s what I know about AT40 jingles and maybe it fills in a few blanks.

It was Killer Music/HLC that produced the huge package for the Shadoe Stevens era, and when Casey came back the account went to TM Century to image the various versions of AT40 and AT20.

Once Ryan came on board, a company in LA got the account (can’t remember the name, I’m afraid – but it wasn’t Groove Addicts). When I visited their site it looked as though this was their first adventure in the world of radio IDs/themes.

Of course, JAM produced the jingles and themes throughout the entire span of Casey’s Top 40 for Westwood One and for Scott Shannon’s Rockin’ America show.

Back to the hallowed ground of “the vault” at JAM and here you can see all the reference tapes for Westwood One – close but no cigar :)
