You all be sure to have a pint or two for me. I wish I could join you… but that won’t be possible this year!

August 16, 2005 at 11:49 pm #17165radioboy949That WIZD 13 days of Christmas is from WIZD in Mobile, AL not Stephens Point, WI.
The station was 104.1, Wizard 104, a very successful AC station that dominated Mobile and Pensacola for years.
I worked in Mobile last year. Dined many a time at the Original Oyster House. Great spot.

Thanks for sharing such a great collection. It’s because of folks like yourself, that this strange hobby that we all enjoy continues to grow more popular all the time. Now if we could only get our wives to understand!!!Ron Turner
http://www.famous56.comAugust 17, 2005 at 8:44 pm #17173tvnutboyNitpick Time: The file marked WHDH TM Composite actually played some PAMS WAYS jings instead. But otherwise, no complaints all around.
J.K.—
August 17, 2005 at 10:21 pm #17174cubwolfMemberYes indeed.
Thanks for the jingles.
I found the BRMB ones wouldnt work as the link says BMRB.
I changed it to BRMB and it works fine.
DaveAugust 18, 2005 at 2:37 am #17175joejinglesTracy,
A great big thank you for these goodies. This is what jingle collecting always has been about and makes me glad to be part of it. Just when I thought of giving it all up…
Some great listening pleasure; thanx for sharing.

ps: when was the last time we met in NYC? Did the Dallas BBQ thing if I recall.August 18, 2005 at 2:42 am #17176topcatThe noted corrections have been made. The proper link for the WHDH jingles is reset… and thanks. Don’t apologize for Nitpiking…. this is how we get the list correct. the BRMB errors have also been fixed.
To Joe C: It’s been a long time. I don’t think I’ve been to Dallas BBQ in NYC in almost ten years. Time flies, I guess. The jingle bug in me had subsided in the mid-eighties, but thanks to an old friend (and fellow jingle collector) in Iowa… the bug came back out to play in ’88 (and hasn’t stopped since).
Everyone enjoy. There will be more goodies added in time. Also, there will be box sets of some of these things for sale in the near future. One thing at a time!!!
Best,
-Tracy
