I posted a demo of my all time favorite JAM package, Outstanding, in it’s original form as created for WLS/Chicago in 1980 in the Downloads section.

I hope everyone enjoys this rare nugget, as most only have the KIIS-FM demo as released on the double disc Classic JAM set.

I have a request now for anyone to send me any other versions of Outstanding they may have in their collections, as I would love to get my hands on other versions of this classic JAM package.

OR….

Any jingles any of you may have from any Nashville, Tennessee radio stations, especially WSM AM & FM.

I know that WLYQ Norwalk, CT and WBCY Charlotte, NC had some of these jingles. I also have some 90’s WSM jingles off-air. If interested, contact me.

Also WDCG/Raleigh-Durham, WBLI/Long Island, WPXY/Rochester, Y-100/Miami (all sono) and WZPL/Indy (ditto) are some others. I have one cut (the weather donut) that was used on WNOK/Columbia that was bought at the same time that the cuts from Hot KIIS was purchased.

FWIW: WNOK wasn’t alone when they used the weather donut off of Outstanding with cuts from Hot KIIS. WROQ/Charlotte, WKSI/Greensboro, & WAEB-FM/Allentown had done the same thing and I’m sure there are others.

I have the jingle master from KFSO/Fresno (Used to work there) and they also used the “Outstanding” weather cut along with cuts from the Hot KIIS package.
