Not exactly a yousendit file but do you remember when the UK Top 40 was good to listen to ? JAM jingles, good presenter and even some good music ! – although the only song I liked in this chart was Electronic:Getting Away With It……………..

June 21, 2004 at 11:14 am #13548BrammyMemberAbsolutely THE BEST countdown music and jingles in my opinion.
And nobody did it quite like Bruno!
Unfortunately the audio cut off at number 3. Did this happen to everyone or is it my download manager playing silly buggers?!?
Liam.

June 23, 2004 at 8:36 pm #13564cubwolfMemberIs that Alex Lester on the end there?
June 24, 2004 at 8:05 am #13568JingleMadMemberAuthorIt certainly is Alex lester – if you wanna hear more of Alex – here`s an aircheck of him when he did mid-mornings at Radio Tees – this aircheck is from 1984………
June 29, 2004 at 1:45 pm #13577JingleMadMemberAuthorFor those of you who missed this first time around – this is a “clean” cut version of the Top 40 JAM jingle that Bruno used for quite some time at Radio 1. Dunno about you but this is my favourite talk-over bed/jingle from JAM.

and as at the top of this page – here`s Bruno using the jingle on-the-air:

July 4, 2004 at 3:19 pm #13611JingleMadMemberAuthorJuly 4, 2004 at 4:32 pm #13614JinglechickThanks for the clean version of the music Dave, have you got the front jingle by any chance. “Radio One, The UK Top 40 – FM Stereo” that would make it complete for me. Cheers
July 4, 2004 at 8:20 pm #13615RobinBlamiresAn almost exact replica of how the jingle was used on air can be found here http://s2.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=34B463C467DD607E7CDF4252C5CDA7C9 and the front tag is included!
