So, TM Studios released two new Legends Remastered packages, We Play the Hits and Madison Avenue. The modern vocals sounds even better than the original. The only problem for me is that the remastered packaged version of Madison Avenue lacked the top of the hour cut (Cut 19).

Both of the original versions of those aforementioned packaged have been heard in Cebu City back in the 90s. We Play the Hits was on 103.5 Kiss FM, which is now Retro Cebu, and Madison Avenue was on UR105 Ultimate Radio, now Halo-Halo Radio.

Outside Cebu City, We Play the Hits was heard on 94.3 Wild Zee in Cagayan de Oro, and Madison Avenue was heard on Pinoy Radio DM 95.5, and later on its successor, Pinas FM 95.5. It’s now Eagle FM.

What are your thoughts?

It’s actually perfect for a classic hits station with the recent TM vocals. However, I do agree there are some cuts missing in the package. I think they want to keep it cost-effective, so they left some out.

Fun fact, Bandung’s OZ FM used some of the cuts of We Play The Hits and Ardan FM used the Madison Avenue ones.
