Hi folks. It has been a while since I have been on here. I recently received a couple of new cuts courtesy of Sono Jingles. They have some superb packages available via their website, many from GwinSound series. Have a listen to these two.

(…shades of WLOF Channel 95, for those out there as old as us lot!)Personally, I DO like the “traditional” vocal sound from these singers – clear, distinct, and well-balanced..
May 28, 2022 at 4:28 pm #104603nleiboI remember the first one from “Ben Freedman’s Instant Radio Station”–and it sounded great–BUT there was supposed to be an additional set of lyrics–as it originally sang “It’s Happening–In the stratosphere, ionosphere, and right down here”—(then) “‘You’re tuned to Ron Seeth on International Sounds” would have followed. Did you not get “alternate” lyrics with this jingle?

The original lyrics won’t fit to the beginning of the jingle because of the length of the slogan 😊
However, I’m happy that you’re pleased with your cuts, Ron! For me, the harmonies on the WDOK cut are lovely.

I’m impressed, so much so that I have bagged myself a slot in the next SonoJingles session to get myself a retro Gwinsound re-sing!

Well, just for “giggles”, I mixed Ron’s Jingle with the Gwinsound Track I had–if he wants it, here it is!!

May 31, 2022 at 3:23 pm #107624AnonymousFor those interested, here’s everything that we’ve sung to-date. There’s currently another session in the works.
We can also adapt tracks for authentic sonovox too (British or American, whatever your preference!)

And now we all vote for our top 3 of these cuts. I’ll think about mine.
