The last three cuts I’ve never heard before.
My brother says he thinks WPEZ Macon, GA
MAY have had these when it was on 107.9 back in the day. Nice to hear some different
          cuts.

The last three are Sunset Boulevard cut #2 – It was a package that a lot of UK stations had several cuts from as part of composite packages in the mid 90s.

Thanks for the information. I listened to parts of the demo and recognize the TOH.
I was in the St. Louis airport one time and was recording KEZK. They surprised me by playing the TOH cut about 15 past the hour.
              Luckily I was recording.

Well done on a great selection of JAM personal cuts Michael; I particularly like your recent Lincs FM inspired resing of Sunlight #6 and the Music Now #12 cut, which almost sounds like it could have been recorded on the original Radio 1 session back in 1982.

Great stuff and thanks for sharing!

It is amazing how Jon can make a new cut resing from a package sung 30-40 years ago sound EXACTLY the same – so much so you can splice them and the vocals flow into each other. I’m hoping Duncan likes my Lincs inspired resing. And I’m very happy with my Music Now cut which took a bit of back and forth to refine – I have a habit of writig things that would be very difficult to sing – in my head they work but I always take the advice to make sure the cut works.

I enjoyed listening to those and yes, it’s fun to hear “the songs you grew up” with JAM vocals. If I was still on Lincs, I’d do a crafty edit.
I still enjoy your Nonstop Power #7- brings back memories of listening to Viking when we were all younger.
Good to hear that Jon’s been busy with us JMers.

Michael – these are fantastic; I love the breakfast cuts especially! Great job by Jon as always. Thanks for sharing!

I took my inspiration for the NonStop Power from YRN :)

Fantastic cuts! When did you place the order or get them delivered? I know Jon mentioned some pandemic delays w/ recording sessions. Hope all are safe!

I placed the order a while back – but Jon was very clear that delivery dates could not be guaranteed, and indeed they were delivered in two sets as one was sung before a renewed suspension of sessions. So he provided me what he could when he could. My parents have just waited 6 months for a shed and a sofa i ordered in January is now delayed until July – At the moment delays are something we have to live with- Be patient – but as always – when they arrive they are fantastic quality.

OK – I know a few people had jingles done at the latest session from AJ – These are my 2021 cuts and I’m very happy with them.

What an excellent set of jingles Michael; I think AJ has done a great job for you on those!!

I especially like the resing of the “Ken Bruce” Radio 2 cut, which I believe was one of the demo cuts from AJ’s bid for the BBC Radio 2 full network imaging package in 2011.

Thanks Mark – I think they are amazing – the vocals are bang on Vs matching the demos and I’m really pleased with them

                                    !!!!

After over 50 years of delving into the world of these “six-second songs”, I still find I know so little !!!
