You know that JAM does internet radio station cuts for people who are wanting to buy them for $350 per cut.
However, I want to hear some Reelworld internet radio station cuts. If you have any, then will you post them on here for all of us to hear?
November 20, 2019 at 7:52 pm #104428IainJohnstonHas been discussed on JM in the past.
I believe that its RW policy NOT to do Personal Cuts, so unlikely to find
anything (except for very dubious home-brew editing).November 21, 2019 at 11:17 am #104431m_hodgeyMemberTrue Iain; there’s not many of those about. In fact, the only one I can think of right now is the 2006 cut for JingleNews.Com. Other than that, I recall that our very own Martin Lester had a Reelworld cut re-sung in 2005, but I think this was a competition prize.
November 22, 2019 at 8:47 am #104435IainJohnstonHmm Do I detect an edit from “Personal” to “internet” in the title etc of this thread?
;^)Otherwise, their DIY online Christmas module a few years ago had a few of us trying to play around with those!
November 22, 2019 at 12:43 pm #104437JustinSaysRadioI do not mind hearing the DIY christmas cuts either.

They were not “real” as such – and indeed were a digitally generated (but very clever) modern version of a very old possibly PAMS or Gwinsound Christmas jingle from long ago.
November 22, 2019 at 2:37 pm #104439JustinSaysRadioMay I still hear them?
November 22, 2019 at 8:56 pm #104440IainJohnstonUnlikely – the facility on their website hasn’t been available for several years.
You’d have to find people with their own audio made up from it at the time.November 22, 2019 at 10:58 pm #104441JustinSaysRadioHow did they make those DIY christmas kit, and what did they have to choose from when it came to creating them?
November 23, 2019 at 8:31 am #104443IainJohnstonThere were half-a-dozen “fixed length” Christmas cuts, in several music genre styles.
With a “Jingle Bells” fixed lyric.
A choice of four letters could be made, and these were each “sung” into the jingle.
The letters were clearly individually loaded into a grid database, which then played
them out into the cut as selected. The whole thing was a very clever bit of digital audio processing.
:^)And a “freebie”!
November 23, 2019 at 1:17 pm #104444JustinSaysRadioDo you have any examples?
November 23, 2019 at 2:21 pm #104445jonnoMemberI think it only let you customise 4 letter US and Canadian callsigns. I do have a couple of rather childish ones making rude 4 letter words (W*** and C***). Hands up who else did this? ?
November 23, 2019 at 3:24 pm #104446JustinSaysRadioMay I hear them?
November 23, 2019 at 3:32 pm #104447JustinSaysRadioAlso, is there a way that I can make some custom jingles with what you used?
November 23, 2019 at 3:38 pm #104448jonnoMemberNovember 23, 2019 at 3:40 pm #104449JustinSaysRadioIs there a way that I can make some custom jingles with what you used?
November 23, 2019 at 3:41 pm #104450JustinSaysRadioI really want to make one that says KGFR as the call letters.
November 23, 2019 at 3:42 pm #104451JustinSaysRadioJonno, thank you for sharing your jingles.
November 23, 2019 at 4:23 pm #104454jonnoMemberI’m afraid not, the jingles are audio files which were created on the site Iain mentioned earlier.
November 23, 2019 at 4:26 pm #104455JustinSaysRadioThat is too bad! Is there anything like this where I can generate radio jingles automatically?
November 23, 2019 at 8:57 pm #104456IainJohnstonJonno is right Justin – you’re several years too late!
Somewhere in the KenR (I think) Pro Paks or Ben Freedman IRS or whatever
there were individual letter “shouts” but not “sung” like I think you want.Have you tried SonoDallas.com where the excellent Ken Justiss should be able
to do you some “budget but professional” material for Freeform Weekend
from Walters Media Group?November 23, 2019 at 10:51 pm #104457JustinSaysRadioHow do you know about my radio show?
November 23, 2019 at 10:57 pm #104458JustinSaysRadioI am planning on getting a job over the summer, and I am hoping to get enough money to buy a Reelworld Jingle or two.
November 24, 2019 at 8:34 am #104459IainJohnston“How do you know about my radio show?”
Either you’re very young or you don’t understand the internet !
Your “handle” of JustinSaysRadio is all over the place, including TooYube. Are you in Montana or Dakota then?
I very much doubt if you’ll be able to buy RW jingles.
Its not just the cost either.Seriously, DO try SonoDallas – even $25 will get you something good,
from a well-known guy who has been in the jingles business for decades
:^)Or save up from the summer job and treat yourself to a JAM Personal Cut;
Many of us on this Forum have done so (often!)November 24, 2019 at 2:32 pm #104460JustinSaysRadioI live in Texas.
