Sadly, I haven’t got a decent copy of the Chris Rainbow “Summer Radio” cuts myself, but you might find the discussion about them in this historic JingleMad thread from 2008 interesting. It also includes word from Jon Wolfert at JAM about the Phillip Schofield version they re-made for Radio 1 in 1988:
