I like to know from which original JAM packages these cuts are resings.
Does anybody recognise one of these 3FM cuts?

The logo sounds like NRJ / Energy.

      Thanks Peter

Peter, you were on the right trail with the NRJ logo as both of those cuts come from JAM’s second custom package for NRJ. A lot of the cuts from this package were included in the demo “In the Mix” for Mix 105, New York, probably as this would have a better sell appeal to the US markets than NRJ:

The second cut in your sample is “In The Mix” cut #1.

This might be of use to you, Peter… with some of those cuts in the clear too!

Is there an original demo with all the original NRJ 2 cuts?

Or does anybody know in which JAM demo package the custom NRJ cuts 15, 18, 19, 27, 29, 30 and 33 are placed?

Peter, I forgot to add to my original post that the first cut in your sample is “In the Mix” cut #7.

I’ve just been doing some research into the JAM NRJ customs and from what I can tell, NRJ cuts #18 to #38 were included in the second custom package, but as far as I’m aware #18, #19, #27, #29, #30 and #33 are un-demoed.

From the “Energy” lyric sheet, the last numbered cut in the first custom package is #17, so cut #15 wasn’t included in the demo; perhaps because it’s something obscure with little re-sing value or maybe the cut was dropped out of the final package?

In terms of an original demo with all the original so called “Energy 2” cuts, I believe there is only this: https://pixeldra.in/u/c_nD4B

This demo includes the following JAM cuts:

                  NRJ#18
                  NRJ#19
                  NRJ#20 (In The Mix #5)
                  NRJ#21 (In The Mix #7)
                  NRJ#22 (In The Mix #3)
                  NRJ#23 (In The Mix #4)
                  NRJ#24 (In The Mix #10)
                  NRJ#25 (In The Mix #14)
                  NRJ#26 (In The Mix #8)
                  NRJ#27
                  NRJ#28 (In The Mix #15)
                  NRJ#29
                  NRJ#30
                  NRJ#31 (In The Mix #9)
                  NRJ#32 (In The Mix #11)
                  NRJ#33
                  NRJ#34 (In The Mix #1)
                  NRJ#35 (In The Mix #6)
                  NRJ#36 (In The Mix#2)
                  NRJ#37 (In The Mix #12)
                  NRJ#38 (In The Mix #13)

On the subject of JAM NRJ jingles, I’ve just discovered that the “Energy” package has been given the cut by cut treatment:

Please don’t laugh Gents, but every time I hear that NRJ logo…
                        …I think of Fireball XL5 !

                        […I’ll get my coat…]
