Here’s a great bit of fun – TM now allow you to sit in the producer’s chair and build your own sound – it’s all fairly self explanatory.

      Go to https://tmevo.com/

You can download the results too.

I did a quick tryout – and the “TM” vocals came out almost identical to the reelworld “do-it-yourself”
Christmas kit thingy we all played with several years ago! Same “vocal inflections”, texture.

All good fun indeed to play with though :^)

For Classic Hits, I think the “4-voice” style actually sounds fuller, oddly enough. Doesn’t sound like each syllable is pieced together, either. But you’d think they’d offer a “classic” Dallas vocal sound (I suppose you could still ask for it).

Incidentally, are any stations actually using EVO Classic Hits? I know none of the demo stations were, last I checked – WLS-FM and KLUV still have JAM, WHTT has TM’s “Milwaukee’s Oldies” packages, and KOOL-FM isn’t using any jingles. Meanwhile, all the other EVO formats do have clients. I personally like the AC and Country (both regular and “Hot”) packages the best.

right. I guess WLS-FM is sticking to the jam stuff, since that’s a long-time thing, maybe others will follow soon. You are true, maybe they can ask for a classic dallas sound for packages, would be nice.

Found a TM EVO Classic Hits station. Newly launched WBOW in Terre Haute, Indiana.
