      The second cut is also Gwinsound. This cut is from Gwinsound Series 9 package.

        Can I ask if Tony Griffin does a Personal Cuts arrangement of the Gwinsound packages?

          Want to contact them direct and see what happens Ron? Would be worth following up.

          I can think of a particular “pirate era” cut that a few people might like resung if it was still extant and
          in stereo? (The “Chairman of the Board” cut e,g, for WLOF…)

            As far as I’m aware the “Chairman” track does exist as Ben Freedman did do resings of it but unfortunately I don’t think the backing track for that jingle is in stereo.

              PK, would be a shame if only mono or not on some kind of multi-track.

              Wonder what could be done with a damn good set of digital filter banks?

              (I found the WLOF cuts again a just a few days ago while rummaging through some backup disks;
              the “Chairman” actually stills sounds very punchy even today without being too “big band” sound
              that dates so much other material from the era. )

                Drop Steve Gustufson an email at TGPTXSales@aol.com — It all depends if the backing tracks are in a usable form (they originate for the sessions from here, btw).

                  You are correct, as I just checked. Gwinsound Series 9 backing tracks were mixed to mono, not stereo. I don’t recall, off the top of my head, if a multitrack exist for that particular package.

                    WLOF Orlando and WWOM New Orleans circa 1972-ish

                    If a multi-track of that ever surfaces amongst those old reels TC……….

                      Thanks Tracy. Will try him and see what response I get.

                            I haven’t threaded it up… but… it might be able to be remixed into stereo (but somehow I doubt it). I just can’t figure out why it wouldn’t have been done previously!
