Why do music production companies produce sites with dreadful usability!? And make me work so hard to find my way around.
Sad to see a lot of fine packages missing / removed – hopefully just not uploaded yet.

They launched a new updating service – although it seems that way, I never heared of AC/CHR/Country-Plus

I ventured into the demo section and about 75% of them start with FX and what sounds like the SAME jingle.

That synth/electro/drum pop (whatever it’s called) with ‘woh woh wohs’ has been around far too long and does not sound like today’s music to me…

There was a melodic jingle song for ‘The Breeze’ in Auckland NZ…

I never understood those FX at the beginning of a cut: it seems to get in the way of musical flow if you ask me.

There are some packages I heared that sounded nice on air, like this one for Dutch equivalent of Radio 2:

The modern pop-rock sound really worked well on the station.

The GEM, Free Radio, BRMB, Mercia, Wyvern packages were all amazing as well as the key 103 one – all missing from the site !
Plus the latest resings and older set of boom resung for Mix 96 in Aylesbury sounded great ( also missing off the site) I think for the most part their work is bang on quality stuff.

The Radio 2 page has some new cuts with the WB update – the 50s cuts

I think I saw on there a cut off of 2012 – so anything earlier than that doesn’t appear to be there – I agree that I would like to have seen some of the archive stuff on there. IIRC, on the Music 4 website, you can still get the 98 Pulse Pack as a montage (rather than individual cuts). Is it really so bad to have some of the older material on there?

Judgement on sites is a very personal thing but as I’ve been head of online for three companies over 10 years I’m going to say that there are things about this new site that are just awful – I scroll up and down and left and new page sheesh – 50% of the jingles home page is a picture of Justin Bieber? The never end scroll of the same stuff? If someone bastardised my logo to suit their own colour pallet I wouldn’t be impressed. I don’t think I’ll be knocking on the door of Buffalo for web creative any time soon.

like the 2016 Mix 96 resings – gone!
