An interesting thing flashed up on Facebook today … someone’s digitised a load of K-Mart ‘Radio’ in-store muzak, ad & promo cassettes from the early 90’s & there ARE jingles present … and cheese, lots of cheese !

My uncle had a bunch of Airline background music reel to reel tapes. I wish I new what happened to them.
I was flying from Portland Oregon one time and heard a Toby Arnold “There’s Only One jock ID for KLAC .

Thanx for posting this little surprise. Tanner’s (or Media General by this time) The Best it sure is. Amazing. Would love to have heard this at the time; I’d have freaked out for sure. Wish that Toby Arnold piece would surface; love his work.

You know, Simon, these aren’t bad! I always liked “background” music (Muzak). I’m rare. Instramentals in particular. These are indeed gems. So very much appreciate these.
