Yes – It’s the Alfasound singers and a hint of the Centre Radio jingles in there so must have been written around the same time – I can imagine with some reworking that fitting in with “at the Centre of everything Centre radio”
The vocal arrangement features many of the alfasound nuances.

I rather like this jingle for the Canadian Forces Broadcasting station… the first part plays, an announcer comes on with the weather under matching bed music, the second part of the jingle plays then the announcer comes on again with the exchange rate for the day and the third part of the jingle comes on

Very true. And quite close harmonies from Manchester too. Not bad at all. First I’ve seen about CFNB though. You would of thought that this would have made the demo

CFNB….oh the memories I started there the weekend following the murder of John Lennon, we certainly never had any station jingles then, the frequency was different as well….I do remember very well that the studio was a converted gents toilets still with the white tiles on the walls….but then the show must go on
