I must admit I don’t normally like S2Blue (UK) re-sings BUT these are really good!
      See what you think?

I completely understand why he didn’t choose Sharpsell…

They work better in this case with UK vocals. The self-depreciating nature of the vocals doesn’t have that
much bite when sung by a Dallas group.

Nice to hear some ‘newish’ JAM resings from that neck of the woods to be fair. I think they’re ok personally. They do the job that is required.

Regarding S2Blue, their website has had a little overhaul….

              1) OK, the Pat Sharp jingles “do what they say on the tin” – but sound very “bedroom studio” (apologies to… :^) ) but thats presumably what was asked for! :^)
(I’ll stick to my JAM version of Best Show 15 I think though…)!

              2) S2blue website – quickly off-topic – yet another “web developer person” seems to have fallen for the now-prevelant trap of using incredibly small text font size that may be “fine” on a 55″ telly on their office wall but is damn near unreadable even on a 22″ PC monitor!
Especially when they’ve repeated the similarly prevalent cardinal sin of trying to use poorly-contrasting text colour (some sort of wishy-washy purp-ly?) on a mushy grey-ish background – as many a well-known major online forum has already found to the displeasure of their “readers”. Think CONTRAST.

No-one’s asking for a “return” to the 28k dial-up days of e.g (a certain UK representatitive of Thom..Cre)’s website’s harsh orange etc, but PLEASE Mr Prentice et al …. if your potential customers are going to get eye-strain trying to read it they’re NOT going to bother much about exploring the products & services further – they’ll “go elsewhere”.

Thank you! And now back to the original topic…

Bit odd that PAMS is showcased on the website but not JAM. Although I am looking at it on the phone – maybe it’s different on a computer?

I couldn’t find anything “new” on the sung Jingle section that wasn’t there over a year ago though?

I cant find any reference to JAM at all. Their previous link to the JAM section (http://www.s2blue.com/imaging_jams.cfm) is now dead.

@Iain – Some of text used on that site is incredibly small – in fact, I’ve read bigger “small print”.
Their contact form is dreadful – “grey” letters on a “grey” background. Their header image looks like a city draped in smog. That extremely deep purple colour used is almost black.
After saying all that, it is one of the gloomiest looking sites I’ve ever seen, so everything fits in really quite well together(!).

Meanwhile, back on topic regarding the jingles…

I enjoy hearing these on SAM FM when Pat stands in for Bam Bam at breakfast.

The JAM material, US and UK vocals, is still on the Steve England website but no updates for ages. For me, the audio deosn’t play either. I thought it would be a better idea for PAMS and JAM to be together on the same S2Blue page INMO?

@petewilson That’s right Pete. Nothing new for a while now

I wonder if the “tattoo…it’s on my bum” lyrics on the Best Show cut #15 was inspired by our very own James Proctor’s personal cut from 2014?
