December 8, 2015 at 8:50 pm #99134GrahamCollinsGood find Geoff.
Looking forward to Duncan’s embellishment, if you’ll pardon the expression !

December 8, 2015 at 11:25 pm #99139LenGroatI admire these very tightly written/sung, creative lyrics – really gets you noticed! And what a team on here to embellish them! I think we are all getting Jeffroized ?
One of my very old JAM favourites was the re-sing ‘Waking you up with a – “pigs grunting FX” – 3 little pigs – on Power 93″ made for WFLZ Florida. I even managed to visit the station in the 1990s and “got the ‘t’ shirt” !
December 9, 2015 at 12:03 am #99140GrahamCollinsExcellent – the farmyard made me laugh out loud !
December 9, 2015 at 8:10 am #99141IainJohnstonBrilliant! definately “non-broadcast” – but was that a sheep?
Didn’t think “Dirty Feed” could be thought of as associated with Aberdeenshire… [eek!]These “mixes” should definitely be used “on-air”!
December 9, 2015 at 8:49 pm #99143m_hodgeyMemberThe JAM jingles for Dirty Feed get better every time and I love the off the wall lyrics on this latest batch, especially when the sound effects have been added by Duncan! Thanks for sharing.
December 11, 2015 at 3:40 am #99149michiMemberLove all three new cuts!

(US Radio reference)

December 12, 2015 at 2:55 pm #99154PKMember“Jeffreeee Teeeee Masunnn – Wun Oh For Free Kay Hitzzzzzz” lol!
BTW I’m a daily listener to your KHits shows Jeffro! We’re both Jingle geeks and Beatles anoraks ha ha!
December 21, 2015 at 5:42 pm #99207Jeffrey T. MasonMemberI’m sorry that I’m JUST seeing this now. Thanks, PK! Love it.
December 21, 2015 at 8:03 pm #99208PKMemberThat’s a heads up for the Johnny Mann singers to get some practice in singing your name in their unique style just incase you ever get the inter-company transfer onto K-Earth 101 in Los Angeles lol!
Although I’m sure Mr Wolfert could easily sing you a version too lol!
BTW it was nice to hear the whole of Side 2 of Abbey Road on Jeffro Radio in my car earlier as I was driving home from town!

Maybe for another day and a fresh thread, but at one time as e.g. one of JM’s Canadian members could describe, there was a whole “Fake Drake” style, with various small and often totally never-heard-of(-again) jingle producers creating packages & customs that used the main Drake logo (uncannily similar to the main TM one except for maybe one half-tone or something) and acapella, vocal and/or instrumental arrangements “close” to what Johnny Mann did with Drake Series A (or was it called Series 1?).
I’ve still got old tapes of some of them, and sometimes they weren’t too bad at all :^)
December 21, 2015 at 10:21 pm #99211PKMemberPAMS and Gwinsound certainly did Drake sound alike stuff.
TM & Tuesdays Productions made jingles for KHJ using the or similar Drake logo.
December 21, 2015 at 11:27 pm #99212Jeffrey T. MasonMemberPK – There’s already a “Jeffrey T Mason” jingle sung for K-Hits. We’ve all got a version of Warp Factor #14, but none of the jocks are allowed to use theirs. Before you ask, I have NO clue why!
December 22, 2015 at 1:09 am #99213PKMemberThat’s weird cos all the jocks on WCBS FM use their versions on air around Five Past every hour!
I have heard the Chicago’s Greatest Hits version of Warp Factor Cut 14 on air at KHits.
I was jokingly thinking of you having a Drake Style Acapella name jingle like the Johnny Mann ‘Robert W Morgan’ style jingles they use on K-Earth!
