I’m very sad to hear that we’ve lost another jingle great.

Jim Clancy’s jingle singing is the stuff of legend. There are countless jingles that we all know and love which include Jim’s incredible low notes. I know it’s not Christmas but I wanted to upload this short song from the Vocal Majority. I’m sure you know that Jim was the Executive Musical Director and founding member of the chorus. I first heard this on Jon’s Rewound show and instantly loved it, the final few seconds are just perfect.

My condolences to all of his family and friends. Jim’s work will continue to be enjoyed and appreciated for many years to come.

I met Jim Clancy while working at JAM. Given many Vocal Majority CDs during the 90s.
Wonderful songs and jingles, his voice was one of the reasons I was attracted to PAMS jingles.
Thank you Jim for all the great stories and bass vocals. Rest in Peace.
