W1440 (CKJR-AM) in Wetaskiwin (south of Edmonton, AB) is going to be a sports station on September 5 as Sports 1440, serving Edmonton after the closedown of the local sports station, TSN 1260 (CFRN-AM).

Here’s a jingle montage which I recorded from 2018 and from 2022-2023.

It includes:
Legal ID – recorded September 2018 – before it was sold to Stingray Radio. (Newcap Radio used to own this)
Legal ID – recorded November 2018 – after it was sold to Stingray Radio, the current radio owner.
Legal ID – recorded January 2022 – used a different cut
Two jingle cuts – one with Wetaskiwin sing, and another with just the station name.

Ah yes, the WODJ jingle pack from Reelworld.
Sounds pretty classy and modern for oldies/classic hits at that time.

And they still do sound great to this day. (IMO)
