the smaller UK stations’ items, even if they were via a UK agent who had a certain very ORANGE website!E.g. Channel 103 Jersey, Castle Rock FM (Dumbarton, Scotland), and so on?
May 24, 2018 at 6:51 pm #95786Media Preservation FoundationMemberAuthorThanks for the suggestion Iain. We haven’t transferred a lot of the UK materials yet as we literally grab the first DAT out of the box. When we collected the archives from Thompson Creative they weren’t in any kind of organised system or fully labelled so to go looking for something in particular is quite difficult when you have 2000+ DATs to work through!

I know we all appreciate what a mountain of material can appear on even just one shrink-wrapped pallet!I’m sure my suggestion is just one of many for potential “selections” anyway.
Hope a few gems do appear in the boxes
