We add new jingles every month to our station as it means we are constantly re-freshed. Covering 4 decades (50s to 80s) we either go for classic ‘fun’ PAMS for the earlier ones, or smooth / timeless material for the later.

I always loved this JAM ‘Coastlines’ package cut as the string sweep UP works out of many songs. I put our station name where the very pretty melody was on the original (‘starting your day with a song’). I don’t subscribe to the belief of keeping just one ‘melody logo’ (at the end) – it makes all the cuts sound the same and limits lyrical variety. Plus putting it at the front means you hear it FIRST. The end lyric is our primary phrase that describes our station perfectly, and this cut can be used virtually anywhere.
