London’s News/Talk station LBC went national this morning and launched a new custom package from David Arnold along with a new station voice.

I wonder if the video clip was intended to represent people up and down the country desperately searching for LBC tuning up and down the dial on their AM and FM radios? or is that just my warped interpretation? />:-)” title=”>:-)” class=”bbcode_smiley” /> </p>

Love a big, proud orchestral sound.

I have to agree after 6 years and the same half dozen I’d s over and over again the old package was getting very dated sounding

Thank Goodness they have also got a new voice over guy

And a much cleaner Traffic Sounder

              This is a big improvement

Never liked Greg Marsden very smarmy on whatever station he was used.

Not liking the new imaging. David Arnold should stick to Film Scores. VO is the all wrong too.

“will be produced nearer to home this time”

                        Prague.
                        “Loves it…”

Nothing to do with not having to pay UK musicians rates or ongoing airplay royalties in the UK then?
                        :-(

It’s well-written and well-performed, but I’m not sure that it has the “wow-factor” that gives it the right impact to make it a recognisable “brand”.

That’s just about sums up global radios output and philosophy
